Campaign is to help the Daughters of Mary Sisters get more food bank supplies, and medical aid relief to the community they serve.
I have created a crowdfunding campaign to help support Daughters of Mary Sisters in Kampala, Uganda. The sisters continuously make major differences to the community they serve. They run a school in the community that educates students from pre-school/k to secondary and trade school levels.
The sisters need monies to help buy medical aid, and food and water supplies for their community during this COVID-19. The current monies they use to support the community by getting food and water, and medical aid relief is from the school budget. The sisters are educators teaching those from pre-school/k to secondary and trade school levels, and since the COVID-19 pandemic hit they are now using their school for medical relief and aid, and food bank distribution. The monies they use to get more food and water supplies, and medical aid are coming from the school budget.
The sisters are now providing food and water supply, and medical aid relief during this COVID-19 pandemic. They are using the school resources to help the community who have come to the school to get the food bank, and medical aid that is being provided by the sisters. The crowdfunding is to help the sisters get more monies to supply and provide more food banking and medical relief to the community.
By providing education, food and medical supplies, love, and the hope of Christ, the sisters are seeing much improvement in the community from young to old.
Right now the community is facing hard times trying to get food and medical supplies during this COVID-19 pandemic. The budgetary funds to support those in the school and in the community are running short. If we reach more than our goal, the rest of the funds will be used for hygiene items, soap, food and water.
In the photographs, you see some of those going to school as well as the beginning stages of the wall for the school compound. Also some of the community that come into the school to get food and medical supplies for themselves and their families.
There is not directly available in Uganda so one of the long time ministry partners, Ai Lin Morten, will be hosting the campaign in the U.S., and will transfer the fundraising monies to the Daughters of Mary Sisters in Uganda. We have done fundraising together before including duck, pig and chicken farm so you can rely on her to transfer the money as soon as it is available with notification it has been received on our end. Like on the duck, pig, and chicken farm project, we will continuously update on how the campaign project is going, and how the community is with notices to those who donated.
The Daughters of Mary Sisters in Kampala, Uganda are so grateful for your interest in our project and hope you will consider partnering with us to make this possible.
Any donation is gladly appreciated.
On behalf of Daughters of Mary Sisters, want to thank you so much for your prayers, donations, encouragement, and consideration.
Be Well. Be Safe.
May God bless you.
