Campaign Story

Dear Beautiful BackHers,

My name is Soyoye Monijesu Ajayi and I’m a business woman and mother. I am seeking for help to raise the sum of Two Million Naira only (NGN 2,000,000) which is equivalent to £3, 350   to kickstart my provisions business in Ile-Ife.

I am a clothes entrepreneur, and I have been in this business for many years growing my store slowly
but due to the fact that the nature of that business is considered “luxurious” for now, as more focus is on survival, and with the unease of converting stock of clothes already bought before the pandemic into cash, in order to start-up this business, I have decided to seek for financial support and fundraise to help start my food and raw products business, also known as ‘essential provisions business’.

Essential Provisions business is very lucrative and one which cannot be out of trend even if the economy crashes because it is all about meeting the daily needs of people in a sustainable manner. People will always need to eat, at the very least. This is a venture I have been exposed to from when I was under my parents. Therefore, I have outlined a list of things I intend to use the money being solicited for so as to show you how passionate I am about the business.

  1. 20 Bags of Rice                         N500,000
  2. 5 Bags of Garri                         N300,000
  • 4 Bags of Elubo Isu             N300,000
  1. 5 Bags of Elubo Lafun             N100,000
  2. 6 Bags of Beans                         N250,000
  3. 4 Bags of Ofada rice             N100,000
  • 15 Kegs of Palm Oil             N150,000
  • 20 Kegs of Vegetable Oil N300,000

Your donation to my course would help to lift not just me up from financial embarrassments but also financially support the local farmers that produce these products, the transport workers that I intend using as logistics for supply and home delivery, shop attendants, a shop cleaner, shop landlord as well as many players in the supply chain that have been badly affected by the prolongation of this COVID-19 pandemic.

I am very happy to work with BuildHer to receive any donations. To make your donations in cash, please use the following account detail.

Beautiful watch! Has a nice heavy weight to it and I really love the hidden clasp. Great find.
